Executive Assistant

Job Summary:

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and other members of the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for the Executive Director and other senior staff members.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Prepare agendas and take minutes for board meetings, committee meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Manage the organization’s contact database and ensure accuracy of contact information.
  • Assist with fundraising activities, including donor research, grant proposals, and donor communications.
  • Manage the organization’s social media accounts and assist with other communications efforts as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
  • Experience with fundraising and donor management preferred.
  • Passion for the non-profit sector and the mission of the organization.
