The New England Medical Association (NEMA) is a Boston-based organization designed to build a community of black physicians and physicians in training, who are practicing in the New England area. NEMA is dedicated to creating a community that will provide career development opportunities, a robust mentoring program, service through community-based projects, and advocacy to eliminate disparities.
Our mission is to help members achieve their career goals for promotion and retention of black physicians, increase diversity in healthcare, healthcare leadership, and participate in pipeline programs to ultimately improve health care delivery.
